Verizon Smart Family provides you with parental controls, location information and call blocking for your kids at your fingertips. You can see your kid’s activity from Facebook to apps on their phone, and block, restrict or set other controls on messaging apps, websites, social media, as well as gaming apps. With Verizon Smart Family, you can instantly pause access to a phone, tablet or laptop.

How do you use Verizon Smart Family to manage your child’s phone?

Choose from the following actions:

1. View location history: Track where your family members are and what they are doing. If your kid has access to a tablet or phone, you’ll also get alerts to track where they’re going and if they are in or near a location that you choose. You can view this information in the Map and Settings pages.

2. Manage Call & Text History: The Call and Text history view allows you to search your child’s phone for specific calls, text messages or phone numbers. You can filter by number, type of phone activity and more.

3. Restrict Access to Apps and Websites: With the Restrict apps and websites feature, you can temporarily block access to apps or websites on a phone, tablet or laptop. If your child receives a phone call while on restricted apps, the call will play through and the app or website will be blocked for the next time you access the phone.

4. Set Limits: Set phone-usage limits like blocking phone calls and texting during dinner time or at bedtime. You can also set your child’s screen time for school hours, or even set a daily limit.

5.
